Department of Art & Design

The department of Art & Design was established in 2008 with a mission of introducing creative knowledge and skills in the region filled with beautiful landscapes and rich cultural heritage.

Department of Art & Design is one of the leading art departments in KPK, offering undergraduate degree courses.

Undergraduate level includes studio practice and theoretical studies. There are two major disciplines in undergraduate level, Fine Arts and Design.

Fine Arts offers Painting and Sculpture as Major Fields of study and Design offers Textile design, Interior design and Graphics design. Department of Art & Design conducts workshops and seminars every semester, also invites Professionals for Juries, Critique and Art discussions.

Students and teachers are highly committed to participate in art competitions, workshops, exhibitions and seminars in country and abroad. 

Department of Art & Design has a broader vision to produce talented Professionals who may lead the world of creative technologies with mature educational behavior. Our mission is to achieve higher level of creativity and skills, useful knowledge and leadership.

 Art and Design Teaching aims to prepare artists, designers, educators, researchers, administrators and policy makers, in the different fields of Art and Design. Through art education, beyond skill and art and design production, critical awareness, social and cultural responsibility, value of heritage, appreciation of diversity, and intellectual abilities are generated. This advances cultural growth and creativity in an informed manner. Art Education in its entirety is a bridge between past practices and contemporary needs

We offer undergraduate programs in Fine Arts and Design, with specializations in areas such as Painting, Sculpture, Textile Design, Interior Design, and Graphics Design.
