To aim for Quality Education on Continual basis at Hazara University through quality practices, inputs and by implementing world class Quality Standards.

Quality Enhancement and Quality Assurance is a team work. The complete team of Hazara University is whole heartly working, every segment feeling its responsibility to lead it to performance within the described standards of PSG-2023 and Hazara University Quality Assurance Policy 2024. The quality in Pakistan’s education commenced by the Quaid e Azam’s saying ““The future of the State will and must greatly depend upon the type of education we give to our children - (Quid e Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah)”. The concept of quality is not new: it has always been part of the academic tradition. It is the outside world that now emphasizes the need for attention to quality, therefore provides a relationship between higher education and the society, whose lives change and improvement depends on the quality of education and hence the education is concern of every individual in the society. The HEIs reputation is presently based on satisfaction of those individuals and the HU academic and administrative teams works together to manage for enhanced quality of education delivered in Hazara University.

QEC-HU was established in view of HEC-QAA policy (PC-I, phase-II) in order to enhance the education standard in Pakistan for international compatibility. HU upgraded the cell to Directorate QE later on. Directorate Quality Enhancement puts its full effort to create and maintain quality culture in all campuses and affiliated institutions of Hazara University and to improve the quality of its education. While DQE is also committed to implement the HEC policies in general and the HEC-QAA policies in particular for continual improvements in quality of education alongwith international exposure of Hazara University in shape of ranking and QA-organization’s memberships.
