Founded in 2019, the Department of Public Policy & Administration at Hazara University is a vibrant academic hub dedicated to preparing future leaders in governance, policy, and public service. Offering BS in Public Administration and M.Phil in Public Policy & Administration, the department blends theory with practice to equip students with the skills needed to address today’s pressing social, economic, and political challenges.

Guided by a vision of delivering affordable, high-quality education and impactful research, the department nurtures critical thinking, leadership, and civic responsibility. Since its establishment in 2019, the department has witnessed remarkable growth and has evolved into a vibrant academic platform, dedicated to preparing professionals and leaders capable of addressing the complex challenges of governance, policy-making, and public service in today’s rapidly changing world.

 

At PPA, our commitment goes far beyond classroom instruction. We aim to nurture critical thinkers, effective managers, and socially responsible citizens. Our flagships programs—the BS in Public Administration and the M.Phil in Public Policy & Administration—are carefully designed to combine academic rigor with practical exposure. To enrich the learning experience, we facilitate study visits to public and development institutions and invite practitioners from diverse sectors to engage with our students.
