Program Objective

The BS Zoology program is designed to achieve the following specific objectives:

  • Core Scientific Knowledge: To provide students with a solid foundation in the biological sciences, focusing on the structure, function, evolution, and classification of animals.

  • Research Proficiency: To develop advanced skills in experimental design, data collection, and the use of modern laboratory and field equipment.

  • Program Description

    The Bachelor of Science in Zoology at Hazara University is a premier four-year degree program meticulously designed in accordance with the HEC Undergraduate Education Policy V 1.1. Our curriculum provides students with a comprehensive and in-depth understanding of the diverse animal kingdom, moving from fundamental biological principles to advanced specialized research.

    By integrating knowledge across vital domains—including Animal Diversity, Physiology, Behavior, Ecology, Genetics, and Evolutionary Biology—the program equips students with the essential analytical and observational skills needed to excel in the modern scientific landscape.
