CONFERENCE INTRODUCTION

The Department of Bioinformatics, in collaboration with the Faculty of Biological and Health Sciences at Hazara University Mansehra, proudly announces the Eighth International Conference on Emerging Trends in Bioinformatics and Biosciences (ICETBB-2026), scheduled for September 10-12, 2026. Situated in the scenic Hazara region of Pakistan, the department has witnessed rapid growth, boasting a dynamic team of internationally qualified PhDs and Postdocs. This prestigious conference will serve as a nexus for researchers and scientists worldwide, facilitating the exchange of cutting-edge research and innovations across diverse and multidisciplinary fields. Welcome to the Eighth International Conference on Emerging Trends in Bioinformatics and Biosciences (ICETBB-2026), a premier global forum dedicated to advancing knowledge and innovation in the dynamic fields of bioinformatics and biosciences. CALL FOR ABSTRACTS

Ø  The Abstracts review criteria include significance of the problem, novelty, clarity, completeness and accuracy.

Ø  Abstracts must be submitted in described template (given online) electronically on or before August 20, 2026.

Ø  Submitted abstracts must represent original work, no one will be allowed to present someone else work without prior permission.

Ø  All abstracts will be reviewed by the Scientific Review Committee within due date. Updates will be communicated by the Conference Secretariat.

Ø  The Review Committee will select abstracts for oral or poster presentation unless the author indicates a specific preference for poster presentation.

Ø  ABSTRACT should be 200-250 words, exclusive of title, author(s) names, and institutional affiliation(s).

Ø  Please use 10pt Times New Roman Font, title should be 10pt BOLD and in BLOCK CAPITALS, authors’ names should be on the next line in 10pt Times New Roman.

Ø  In case of more than one author, please BOLD the name of the presenting author.

Ø  Authors’ organisations/institutions should be on the next line in 10pt Times New Roman, should include the city, state and country of the organisations/institutions.

Ø  Oral Presentations: will be for 15 minutes. This is inclusive of 2 minutes question and answer time.

Ø  Posters: Standard size in Portrait (4 feet H x 2.5 feet W) and must be submitted on registration desk on first day.

Ø  Please note that, accepted Abstract/s will be notified on or before August 25, 2026 and will only be published upon completion of registration process before August 31, 2026. Separate registration for each paper is required in case of multiple papers.

ACCOMMODATION POLICY

1.      Foreign Keynote Speakers will be provided with complimentary accommodation in the University Guest House.

2.      National Invited Speakers will be offered a 2–3-night stay either on campus or in nearby hotels.

3.      Faculty Members will be provided 2–3 nights of shared accommodation (September 10–12) in any external Guest House or hotels. Extended stays and family accommodation will be on a self-payment basis.

4.      Students will be provided simple shared accommodation for 2–3 nights in University or private hostels within the campus. Students preferring hotel stays may reserve rooms at their own expense.

Note: The organizers will arrange simple shared accommodation for participants. Those who prefer a more comfortable or luxurious stay are kindly requested to book hotels at their own expense. To facilitate this, a list of nearby hotels offering reasonable rates will be shared with all participants. Please note that, due to limited availability, the University Guest House will accommodate only International Keynote Speakers and Senior National Invited Speakers.
